The Beggars Opera & The Threepenny Opera Double-Bill

Staging ideas for a double-bill of The Beggars Opera and The Threepenny Opera. Both shows had to share the same physical space, yet needed the aesthetic freedom to exist in very different worlds. This design solution suggests a versatile traverse space, overarched by an angular burnt out skeletal frame of a stylised 18th century building. The publicity painting show holds an essence of the burnt out traverse.
